It’s like we’re sitting at your desk. We can then see your screen, control your mouse and keyboard, and troubleshoot problems as if we were physically there. This allows us to fix many computer issues quickly and efficiently, without you needing to bring your computer in or wait for an on-site visit.
Is remote tech support secure?
Absolutely! Your security and privacy are our top priorities. We use industry-standard, encrypted remote access software to connect to your computer. This software creates a secure connection, like a private tunnel, between your computer and ours. You have full control during the session – you can see everything we’re doing, and you can end the connection at any time. We will never access your computer without your explicit permission.
What types of problems can you fix remotely?
We can fix a wide range of computer problems remotely, including:

While we can solve most issues remotely, there are some cases (like major hardware failures) that require on-site attention. If we can’t fix your problem remotely, we’ll explain the situation clearly and discuss your options. We can provide recommendations on how to find a good local technician (if you’re in the Mandurah/Peel region) or suggest other solutions. We won’t charge you for the remote session if we can’t resolve the issue. Please note, this does not include us providing a recommendation.
How much does remote tech support cost?
Our remote tech support is charged at an hourly rate, with a minimum charge of $50. We’ll always give you an estimate of the expected time before we start working, and we’ll keep you updated if it looks like it will take longer. There are no hidden fees, and you only pay for the time we actually spend working on your issue. Contact us for our current hourly rate.
What are your hours of operation?
Our standard business hours for remote tech support are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM AWST. We also offer after-hours and emergency support by appointment (additional charges may apply). Contact us to discuss your needs.
Do I need any special software?
No, you usually don’t need to install any special software beforehand. We use a secure remote access tool that typically involves downloading a small, temporary application for the session. We’ll guide you through the simple process, and the application will be automatically removed after the session ends. In some cases, we might ask you to download it before for speed reasons. It’s all very straightforward and safe.
