SEO for Mandurah businesses

When someone in Mandurah searches for what you do, the map results and the first few websites get the call. Local SEO is the work that puts you there: your Google Business Profile, pages that say clearly what you do and where, and the technical problems that stop Google reading your site. I'm in Falcon and I do the work myself.

What local SEO work involves

Most of it is unglamorous and specific. Not every business needs all six, and I will tell you which ones matter for yours before you pay for any of them.

  • Your Google Business Profile

The map results are where most local searches end. Categories, service areas, hours, photos, posts and reviews, set up properly and kept current, so you show for searches around Mandurah.

  • The searches worth chasing

Mandurah is a small market, so I check what people actually type and how often before writing anything. "Electrician Halls Head" might be worth a page. A term nobody searches is not.

  • A page for each service and area

One clear page per thing you do, saying what it is, where you do it and how to get in touch. Written for the person searching first and for Google second.

  • Technical problems fixed

Slow pages, pages Google cannot index, broken links and missing titles. I fix them rather than hand you a report listing them.

  • Reviews and local listings

A steady way to ask happy customers for a Google review, and your business name, address and phone number matching everywhere it is listed.

  • A monthly report in plain English

Where you rank for the searches that matter, how many people found you, how many called or filled in a form, what I did and what is next.

An example: how local SEO could work for a Mandurah business

This is an illustration of how I would approach it, not a client result.

Say a mobile dog groomer based in Meadow Springs wants more bookings. I would start with the Google Business Profile: the right category, a service area covering the suburbs they will drive to, real photos of their work, and a simple way to ask each happy customer for a review. For a business like that, the map results are often where most of the enquiries would come from.

Then the website. If it has one page that says "grooming services", I would split it into the things people search for, like dog grooming in Mandurah and a mobile groomer for Halls Head or Dawesville, each saying clearly what is offered and where. I would check how many people search each one first, because some suburbs get almost no searches and a page for them would be wasted effort.

Mandurah has far less competition than Perth, so work like that could start to move things within a few months. If the numbers showed people were not searching for that service at all, I would say so and suggest something else rather than keep the work going.

How it works

  1. Look at where you stand

Your website, your Google Business Profile, your reviews, and who shows up above you for the searches that matter in Mandurah. I look before I suggest anything.

  2. Fix what is free first

The Google Business Profile and the technical problems usually come first, because they cost the least and can move things fastest.

  3. Build, measure, adjust

Pages written one at a time for real searches, tracked every month. What brings in enquiries gets more attention. What does not gets dropped.

Monthly options, and how the fee works

There are no packages to pick from. Most Mandurah businesses land on one of the three shapes below, and I quote a flat monthly fee for it once I have looked at your site. Some only need their Google Business Profile looked after. Others need the website worked on too: a month fixing the technical problems, then service and suburb pages added one at a time. Some want a one-off clean-up and then a lighter monthly check. You can change it as you go.

  • Google Business Profile looked after on its own
  • Profile plus new service and suburb pages
  • A one-off clean-up, then a lighter monthly check
  • A flat monthly fee, quoted up front
  • Month to month, no minimum term
  • Your website and Google profile stay yours

Who it suits

SEO is not the right answer for every business. It usually is when these are true.

  • You serve Mandurah and the Peel

Trades, health and wellness, professional services and other local businesses whose customers search on their phone for someone nearby.

  • You can wait a few months

SEO takes three to six months before it means much. If you need enquiries next week, Google Ads is the honest answer and I will say so.

  • You have been burnt before

If you paid an agency for monthly reports and cannot say what changed, you will get reports here that you can check for yourself, and no contract.

SEO questions from Mandurah businesses

Are you an SEO agency in Mandurah?
No. Digital Den is one person: me, in Falcon. No account managers, no offshore content team. If you are looking for SEO in Mandurah from someone you can meet in person and who does the work themselves, that is what this is.
How long does local SEO take to work?
Changes to a Google Business Profile can show within weeks. Website SEO usually takes three to six months to mean much. Mandurah has less competition than Perth, which helps, but no one can promise a ranking or a date.
What does SEO cost in Mandurah?
It depends on how competitive your trade is, what state the website is in and how much needs writing, so I do not publish a price. I quote a flat monthly fee on a free call, once I have looked at your site.
Do you guarantee a number one ranking?
No, and nobody credible does. Google does not sell positions. What I can promise is doing the work that reliably moves local rankings, and showing you every month what moved so you can judge it yourself.
Do you have SEO results I can look at?
Not a measured local one yet, and I will not dress one up. The SEO job I have written about, a financial advice business rebuilding lost content over twelve months, is in what SEO in Mandurah looks like, and that article does not say it is a Mandurah business. One Google review does mention this work: “Lee assisted me with my Google Business Profile and now it’s up and running.”
Is a Google Business Profile really part of SEO?
For a local business it is often the biggest part. The map results sit above the websites for most "near me" and suburb searches. A profile with the wrong category, no photos and three-year-old reviews will lose to one that is looked after, whatever your website says.
Do I need a new website first?
Not necessarily. Plenty of sites just need the SEO done on top. If yours is slow or hard for Google to read, I will tell you, and since I also do web design in Mandurah I will say plainly that I have an interest there.
Can I do SEO and Google Ads together?
Yes, and plenty of businesses do. Ads bring in enquiries while the SEO builds. See Google Ads Mandurah, the full SEO service page, or everything I do in Mandurah.
