SEO — Perth & Mandurah

Get found when someone nearby isalready searching.

Most of your future customers are not browsing — they are typing a specific thing into Google with the intent to buy. SEO is the work of being the result they find. It is slow, it compounds, and it does not stop the day you stop paying.

What you actually get

Rankings, and the workthat earns them.

No retainer that buys a monthly report and nothing else. Here is what actually lands on your site and your profile.

  • Rankings for terms people actually type

Not vanity keywords with no buyers behind them. I go after the searches that end in a phone call — which usually means the boring, specific ones.

  • A Google Business Profile that works

For a local service business this is often the single highest-return thing on the list. Categories, services, photos, posts and reviews, set up properly and kept current.

  • The technical problems fixed, not listed

Slow pages, missing structure, pages Google cannot index, duplicate titles. You get them fixed — not a 40-page audit PDF telling you they exist.

  • Pages written to rank and to read

Content that answers the question someone actually searched, in plain English. Written for the person first, structured for the crawler second.

  • A monthly report you can follow

Where you rank, what changed, what I did, and what I am doing next. No dashboard exports, no impressions-and-reach padding.

  • Direct access to the person doing the work

No account manager relaying questions to a team you never meet. You email me, I answer, and I am the one making the changes.

How it works

Audit, fix, publish,then keep going.

  1. Step One

    Audit and priorities

I look at where you rank now, what your competitors are doing, and which searches are worth chasing. You get a shortlist ordered by what will move first, not an inventory of everything wrong.

  2. Step Two

    Fix, build, publish

I work through the list — technical fixes, your Google Business Profile, the pages that need writing or rewriting. This is the part that takes months rather than weeks, and I tell you what is happening as it happens.

  3. Step Three

    Measure and adjust

Rankings move, competitors respond, and search behaviour shifts. Each month I report what changed and reset the priorities off real data rather than the original plan.

Where to start

You do not need to doall of it at once.

SEO gets sold as an all-or-nothing retainer. It is not. There is a sensible order, and the cheapest steps come first.

  1. Start with what is already free

Your Google Business Profile costs nothing and is often the fastest win available to a local service business. Before anyone spends a cent on content, that should be complete, categorised correctly and collecting reviews.

For exampleA plumber whose profile lists one service and has no photos could be invisible in the map results while ranking fine in normal search.

  2. Then fix what is holding the site back

There is no point publishing new pages onto a site Google struggles to read. Speed, structure, indexing and internal links come before volume.

For exampleA site where every page shares the same title tag might have twenty pages competing with each other for one term.

  3. Then build, one page at a time

One page per real question, published steadily. This is the slow part, and it is the part that compounds — pages written two years ago still bring in enquiries.

For exampleA page answering "what does a carport cost in WA" would keep earning clicks long after the month it was written.

Who this is for

Worth doing —and when it isn't.

SEO suits some businesses and wastes money for others. It is quicker for both of us if you can tell which one you are before we talk.

  • Local service businesses

Trades, home services, clinics, studios — anyone whose customers search with a suburb attached, or tap the map pack before they scroll. This is where local SEO earns its keep fastest.

  • Businesses that can wait a few months

SEO is a three-to-six month proposition before it means much. If you need enquiries next week, paid ads are the honest answer and I will say so.

  • Anyone burnt by an agency retainer

If you have paid for twelve months of reports and cannot say what changed, you are the person this is written for. No lock-in, and reporting you can actually check.

Common questions

The questionspeople actually ask.

How long does SEO take to show results?

Three to six months before it means much, and longer in a competitive market. Anyone promising page one in weeks is either targeting a term nobody searches or is about to do something that will cost you later. I would rather set that expectation now than have you disappointed in month two.

What's the difference between SEO and paid ads?

Ads buy you the top of the page today and stop the moment you stop paying. SEO earns a position over months and keeps it working after the spend stops. Neither is better — they answer different questions. If you need leads this week, start with paid ads. If you are building something that compounds, start here. Plenty of businesses run both.

Do you lock clients into contracts?

No. No minimum term and no lock-in. That is unusual for SEO, because the work takes months and a contract protects the agency from a client leaving in month two. I would rather explain the timeline honestly upfront and have you stay because you can see it working.

What happens if I want to stop?

You tell me and it stops at the end of the month you have paid for. The work already done stays done — the pages, the technical fixes and your Google Business Profile are on your site and your account, not rented from me. Rankings will drift over time without maintenance, but nothing gets switched off or taken back.

What does SEO cost, and what affects the price?

It depends on how competitive your market is, what state the site is in, and how much content needs writing. A local trade competing in one suburb is a different job from a business chasing state-wide terms against established competitors. I will give you a number on the call once I have looked at your site — not a menu of tiers to pick from before either of us knows what you need.

Do I need a new website first?

Not necessarily. Plenty of sites are fine structurally and just need the SEO work done on top. If yours is slow, hard for Google to read, or built in a way that fights every change, I will tell you — and rebuilding it may well be cheaper than working around it. I build sites too, so I have an interest here and will say so plainly rather than pretend otherwise.

Will I understand the reports?

Yes. I write them in plain English: where you rank, what moved, what I did, what is next. If a report needs a glossary it is not a report, it is cover.

Do you work with businesses outside Perth?

Yes. I am based in Mandurah and work with businesses right across Australia. Local SEO does need me to understand your area, but it does not need me to be in it — and everything else is location-independent.

Do you guarantee a number one ranking?

No, and nobody credible does. Google does not sell positions and does not take instructions from me. What I can commit to is doing the work that reliably moves rankings, and showing you the movement every month so you can judge it for yourself.
